Eggplant Emoji would read a piece that long. Their call for submissions ended in May however and the next one isn't until 2025. The editor is pretty cool though and might read it anyway.
Thanks, Mark. To be honest, it wasn't actually akin to one of the Labours of Hercules, but the lack of such a list annoyed this retired old man enough to make him put it together. :-)
Thanks so much for providing this Doug!
Thanks, Gary. It's always a pleasure to help writers find a home for their work.
I'm looking for one that will take a 9k-er.

Thanks! Benjamin just posted a bunch that do long ones. I’m going to check those out, but I’ll put Eggplant in my favorites.
At than length I suppose you are looking at the New Yorker or The Paris Review. Half-kidding. It's hard to place long form humor.
Fiction on the Web is open to up to 10,000 words, you could give them a look and see if your piece fits there, they tend to be more mainstream.
Wow Doug, thank for compiling this. I realize it takes quite a bit of effort to do.
