Welcome to the slowest month for writers! I mean, if it is this hot outside and you’re still submitting your work, you deserve a medal. All I can manage is AirCon and doom-scrolling Donald Trump indictments. OK, this is a big month, so let’s get into it.
A quick refresher for anyone new to this newsletter:
This newsletter is run by Chill Subs (a free database of 3000+ literary magazines for writers) & Write or Die (our internal magazine & workshop platform for writers)
We put out 12 lists of submission opportunities per month (6 for free subscribers).
It is comped if you are part of our Premium Members Program (previously called ‘Sub Club’)
Folks who purchased a Write or Die Workshop, receive a free month comp to our premium membership.
We have two tiers:

Finances:
This month we hit our goal of $2,008 per month! Thank you! This means we are about to afford database & development help to keep Chill Subs running. Our total expenses each month are $3,850 which we were just able to clear this month thanks to yearly subscriber sign-ups.
And we passed 2,000 Subscribers on Substack. Yay!
