9 Lit Mags That Published Kelly Link Before She Was Famous
Yes, she's famous. And fantastic.
Kelly Link is the freaking best. If you haven’t read her, please go out and do that right now. She writes amazing short stories and is one of the only writers today who I think has achieved bonafide “writer fame” on short stories alone. She just released her first novel after, like, twenty years of wrecking it with bomb as hell short works. She was even nominated for a Pulitzer. I mean, who doesn’t want a Pulitzer? No, it’s not a breed of dog. Nevermind.
So we wanted to track down those lit mags who published Kelly Link before she was famous since, and I may be wrong, I don’t think anyone reading this is famous and, I may be wrong, but a lot of people reading this might want a Pulitzer someday but just know, if you get one, your father and I are not going to take care of it for you. You’ll need to walk it, feed it, and clean up after it. If you don’t, we're going to send it up to live on aunty’s farm. We’re your parents, not your servants, OK?
