Jobs for Writers (7.18.25) | Remote roles at HarperCollins and Hachette, pitch calls paying up to $600, and more than a few gigs across the pond
Welcome to Sub Club’s Jobs for Writers!
I’m currently in the north of England—Winterfell, basically—visiting my partner’s family and doing my best not to fall into a really poor impression of Noel and or Liam Gallagher. Why yes, I’m talking about Oasis, baby! Not sure why they got back together for this tour, but I’m assuming it’s because someone needs money for alimony. This is probably and/or definitely something I could look up, but I refuse to.
And if you read the above and have absolutely no idea what I’m talking about, I just want to say: You’re so lucky. I wish I were you, honestly.
Anyway, let’s get to jobs.
Is your job—or a friend’s job, or a friend’s friend’s job—looking for a writerly person to do something… writerly?
We’ll list any paid or volunteer opportunity in writing, publishing, and editing. Find details and submit your opening here.
