Welcome to the next installment in our Best American Something or Another list. Yes, we’re doing it for essays now. You can find the same style list we did for fiction here:
This time, we went and pulled all of the magazines that have appeared the Best American Essays for the past thirteen-ish years so you can target those spots who you know are hitting that mark. AND for each, as with our last Best American Fiction list, we have listed how many times each of these appeared in the anthologies. And, yes, yes, remember the grains of salt.
Enjoy. There are 46 but then another 20ish we don’t have in our database which I’ve also listed.
