42 Newly Opened Submission Calls That Pay
Free list - explore all the genres, fees, reading periods & genres.
There is something undeniably satisfying about getting paid for your work. It’s likely due to some dark impulse psychologically programmed into us to only attribute value based on money because we were born into a post-capitalist hellscape. But fuck it. It feels good.
So for this week’s Monday list, I’ve pulled all the recently opened magazines (since July 15th) that will pay you for your work. The amount they pay is in parenthesis beside each magazine’s name.
I’ve included descriptions, genres, deadlines, response times, and fees. Each magazine’s name will direct you to their Chill Subs listing page to learn more about them. And I’ve included a direct guidelines link if you want to dive right in and submit.
This is one of our free lists for August. If you like what we do, please consider becoming a paid subscriber.
