15 Most Submitted To Magazines on Chill Subs
Who else loves tracker data?
I’ve written about the most popular magazines on Chill Subs. I calculated this based on how many times people "Bookmarked” the magazine which indicates they’re saving it to submit to later. But recently, I got ahold of our tracker data to see how this lines up with how often each magazine was actually submitted to. Surprisingly, these don’t match. It seems the magazines people love, and those they submit to, are quite different most of the time.
So, for today’s list, I pulled the 15 most submitted to magazines with all of the information we have on them. Since this is a tracker-fueled post, I’ve included acceptance rates on top of fee, pay, founding date, description, response times, genres, and so on.
If you haven’t had the chance to use our tracker, it’s pretty sweet. We made it super simple, with an area for notes, a card-style view, and, of course, Rejection Bingo to help alleviate the sting of all those “No, thank you,” emails.
You can also import all of your past tracked submissions from Submittable, The Grinder, or a personal spreadsheet so you don’t have to start all over.
I decided to add a bit of personal commentary to this list since I’m familiar with most of these magazines. We’ve exchanged letters. Yeah, I know people. So for each magazine there is a little commentary about what I know of them/my thoughts in general.
