Hello and also welcome to our first edition of Sub Club’s Jobs for Writers! This is where we’ll be bringing you open positions in the world of publishing so you can start building your career in earnest.
As a person who is often applying to jobs—aka throwing my meticulously designed résumé into what seems like a black hole of neverending content writing gigs that never respond—my hope is that this newsletter can be a place that acts as a stepping stone to a career in publishing. We are very much in this together, okay?
In that vein, we’ll be bringing you job listings on the professional development side of the writing world: writing, teaching, editing, marketing positions, and the ilk at publishers, agencies, and more. Less “Where to Pitch,” more “Where to Build My Career or At Least Try To, I’m Doing My Best Goddammit.”
